During a holiday in Verona we found quite a few nice playgrounds, "campo giuochi per bambini" in Italian, of which this was probably the nicest. The playground is located right next to a large paddling pool of the Arsenale public park by the river Adige, across the bridge from Castelvecchio. The park has swings, jungle gym, rocking animals and a traffic park. The park is shadowed by a lot of trees. Right outside of the playground there is the paddling pool, which was almost empty all the three times we went by, even though it was +35 degrees celcius. The pool is really big, and there were as many adults enjoying the warm water as there were kids.
